Is right-wing talk dying?

Something interesting is happening on the right. While Republicans make gains, the ratings for Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are dropping like pianos out a 17th-story window as listeners and station managers grow sick of redundant anti-Obama tirades.

After all, how many times can you scream that President Obama is a socialist who wasn’t born in America before people who grew up worrying about ray-guns tune you out?

A singular focus only works for kamikaze pilots. Smart, unpredictable and non-partisan news now is gaining market share.

And we all thought real journalism was as square as a deck of cards.
